Hello to everyone, I am new to bonsainut but have been enjoying the art the last 4 years. Since I live in South Florida I primarily play with tropical. I have been looking at the site and did not see any Escambron (Clerodenmdrum Aculeatum). They are native to Puerto Rico and are quickly becoming one of my favorite species to work with. If you ever have the opportunity to get on I strongly recommend them. They back bud, have small leaves, are impossible to kill and their growth rate is remarkable. The photo attached is a tree strated just over two years ago.

I would say yes. They do not tolerate cold. I bring mine indoors anytime temps get into the 40's.
