Elm 1# from Mr. Kim's

Here is the first elm I got when visiting Mr. Kim's over the weekend. I could spend many hours just walking around. This is why I was looking for a few pointers about brooms.




There are so many shoots it is starting to blow the top apart. Should I wrap the top in raffia? Should I thin it to the initial 2-5 now?
