Now that the weather has begun to break here, in thee Merrye Olde Land of Oz, I'm finally in a position to start transitioning my trees into grow pots, or something similar.

And, as we got some downright torrential rains overnight, I thought today we be a good day to start.

Today we begin with a Dwarf River Birch. Picked up late season last year, pics included. I am only going to repot as the tree is severely root bound. I think it has mad potential and doesn't need to be any taller, a meter at least, than it already is.

How did it turn out?
I think it will be okay. I reported it last week, and now it seems to want to burst at the seams, as.its spring growth has started.

Should I give it a light, very light prune? There is growth in places I know I don't want. Pics included.
