Hi!

Anyone tried grafting dwarf chirimen Jasmin onto normal size? What technique did you use? Scion and understock, or approach graft?

I ask because I got my hands on some dwarf chirimen Jasmin… they are hard to find.

In anticipation, I’d started propagating non dwarf (giant?) Jasmin last year which are ready to pot.

It depends, Chirimen is a Trachelospermun species in the Apocynaceae family, you could graft it to another species that must be in the same family, true Jasmins the Jasminus species are in the Oleaceae family, you cant graft into them. The non dwarf is the same species or another? many times the common name can be the same in plants in different genus or families
