Don’t know if it’s still allowed to participate or if my tree’s are even eligible but I just saw this contest and thought heck let’s try. Bought these trees last january from a garden center as practice trees for a hefty discount. 2 for €5 for the smaller ones and €5 for the “bigger” one.
They were not to healthy at the time.
Back then I decided I wanted to make a forrest with the smaller ones but because of their state of health I only slip potted them in an old wine box. The bigger one i slip potted in a net pot and wired out in a semi cascade. This fall I’m planning to repot (heard fall is the best time for spruce) the smaller ones on a slab and make an actual forest and the cascading one over the rock next to it and back in the net pot.
