I have dropped my Jade plant and entered panic mode. Thanks to the little rock only half the branches have broken off.

I am repotting and have cut back to the next node. Anyone have any tips? Maybe rebuilding the apex. . .Or its chances of survival?

It is a Jade so almost unkillable - except for cold or too much water. It probably hardly even noticed the fall.
They will sprout new buds from any older nodes so can be chopped back to bare trunk and still come back.
Hard to get a good appreciation of the structure with the poles and fence in the background but you should be able to work out what looks good and cut off anything else.

Great opportunity to do what needs to be done to many of these, which is a strong cut-back every once in a while. Now look at you rplant and decide which branch bases you want to keep for main structure.

it will have no problem dealing with this. Just be wary of overwatering for the next weeks.

I’d consider cutting the entire thing back to just short segments after bifurcation. Get rid of the long segments on the upper portion. Maybe keep the long branch on base a little longer to build pads on. I might remove the big branch against the rock. Then plant it a little bit deeper. Then when it sprouts you can cut back for more movement and bifurcation. As you start on tertiary refinement in a couple years you can defoliate or partially defoliate to build density. Nice trunk!

Update on all the cuttings.

They are growing these long branchlets that get lanky or droopy since I an watering them almost too much. (Twice a week)

On the only blue pot one. Hemmy, You may be on to something. I will draw it and see how it looks.
