Do you defoliate, fully?

I'm actually wondering if anyone uses defoliation techniques on Portulacaria Afra....???
And what results did you get out of it?
Good? Bad? Smaller leaves? Die back?

House Plant!!!111...

..hehe, have a 4 tree clump in the bathroom i`m playing with.. striped one trunk down to leaf pairs and is now bouncing back with new growth.. took all the big leaves off the other three.. all showing strong growth and i swear thickening... Could be that 7-8 weeks ago they went into DE instead of mud though..

Is your new growth from the ends, or did you get any back budding?

I think they are a cool specie.
