It's been a different spring here after a very snowy winter. Cool and wet and delayed. The deep snows have been stubborn in melting, especially at higher elevations. The good news is that the season was extended and all the deadfall that kept many areas inaccessible last year aren't an issue as much now. Here are some of my infamous crappy pics. In order.. Ponderosa pine, Lodgepole, Mt. Hemlock. IMG_1368.JPG IMG_0892.JPG IMG_1520.JPG IMG_1521.JPG IMG_1547.JPG I got so caught up in the conifer chase, that I didn't even look for good Manzanita. Maybe next year.

Same winter, spring on the 50th......It's still really cool up here too.....14 day forecast only shows two days above 70...
Some nice finds.....are the Lodgepole Shore Pine?
