DE 8822 vs. Optisorb vs. DE Coarse

Alright, I'm finally getting around to posting this. I got a sample from the guy that I might be buying the course from. Here is the breakdown:

Basically he told me that this product will be screened smaller that 3/8ths and that 90% is 4 mesh or bigger and 8% 6 mesh or bigger with 2% fines.

That sounds like a dream to me: Anyways here are the pictures: (the first one is the biggest I could find in the DE Coarse)

I'm thinking the DE course mixed with the Optisorb. Or maybe the DE course as the bottom layer used with the Optisorb as the main substrate.

I'd be "IN" on some of that DE Course!

Interesting, from the last pic Im liking the looks of the coarse DE and its lack of small fragments and dust that the Napa and Optisorb display. Id certainly be inclined to try this if available. Thanks for posting this!
