so I have 2 youngin’s here I thought I would get documented.
First - A little Norway spruce project.
My daughter brought the seedling home from her kindergarten class on earth day last year.
I Did find this pic.
I put some wire on it, and gave it the old corkscrew bend.
I read somewhere that these spruces take for ever to wire in place.
Therefore, I’m trying one of P. Chan’s techniques and leaving it in.
Seems to be swelling nicely
Next is my first plant -intended for bonsai-
2018 Xmas gift from my mom.
Came from amazon dealer -green 9box or something.
3 Small nana cuttings in soil,with some pebbles, in a bag, with a pot.
Didn’t even come with a ceramic pot which was shown. (Did come in a rugged plastic bonsai pot though).
-was in a box and gift wrapped for a number of days.
- Was completely shaken out of the pot and mixed up in the box. Immediate re-pot!
-Spent almost a year indoors!
- Was re-potted twice more since. Soil issues and then knocked off the table.
Tough lil punk is showing some vigor nowadays.
Soil still looks bad though!
