cracking deal!!

Cool but you have got to get that loropetalum outside. You're slowly killing it by keeping it inside.

You can better learn what's going on than make sweeping assumptions, you'll kill it even faster treating it like a kitten.

1. It's NOT freezing, it's cold to you, a human. You can't bring it inside and mess around with it, that's what kills them.
2. It didn't start going down hill, it did what they do in winter and the leaves went darker.
3. Trees don't need HEAT to get better, they need LIGHT. It gets effectively zero light where you have it. Never, ever, put a tree somewhere in your living room - they are not low-light houseplants. You need to have them right next to a window - within an inch of the glass.

1. when i say freezing im not lieing snow tonight and since i live high up in flats its freezing outside
2. i know now i thougt it was dieing but i have but it back in the back room where its cold and in front of a window were it gets light all day
3. ok i really didnt know heat didnt help its only been there 1 day iv moved it back

This is still effectively darkness. Needs to be on the windowsill.

I'm not familiar with Loropetalum, but from what I can find, they are cold hardy and can withstand some sub freezing weather. With that said, they probably won't stand being moved in and out of a heated building all winter long. It's only the second week of December and you've got the rest of the winter to muddle through...find a protected place outside, mulch it in and leave it there...or...place it in a cold sunny window and cross your fingers. I'd think outside would be best.

thats not a problem ill do that now ;)

I would give the Loropetalum to someone that is able to care for it properly. But that's just me.

That is not big enough to block your entrance door or any step going to it... You and that plant will be happier!

I lived in England for 7 years. One of the houses I lived in was built in the 1700's and when you opened the front door you where on the sidewalk of Main Street, literally. Maybe Maverick has a similar issue?

Wow you are good at that game.
