Collecting a large trident near Miami

So it has been almost a year since this tree was collected. It's grown very well and is currently without leaves with tons of dormant buds getting ready to go. Should I be looking at the roots to do some further reduction this year or wait until next year?

Unless the pot is completely filled with roots, and you're having percolation issues I'd wait one more season.
