Yamadori
Rarely on my scouting trips do I ever locate anything that has really good potential for a well developed tree and never before in a native soil that allows for confident collection. BUT on my last outing I found this guy which in my opinion holds both good potential and had a great root structure. I did a little cleanup to the lower portion of the trunk, teased out about 1/3 of the outer root system then planted it in pumice/tree bark with small amount of soil and organics from the dig site. This "method" has worked well on the last few spruce I have collected for survivability.
