In the past few months this tree filled out nicely. All the shoots grew 12-24 and the side branches were wired to be horizontal. Yesterday I brought it to @Mellow Mullet. In return I have a good trident maple, a Kingwood box wood, a Satsuki azalea, and 10 maple cuttings. Mellow Mullet is such a nice guy.

I have no doubt he will turn this tree into a beautiful bonsai. There just won’t be any more update on this tree from me.
