Just found my first cicada damage. Trident maple Kabudachi style clump I put together a couple years ago and have been letting grow to try to fuse the trunks. Went outside to inspect things today and one of the trunks was snapped in half. Took a closer look and found the cicada still there and lots of cuts. Its been windy today so I am guessing the wind snapped the weakened trunk. Super annoying!
