$10 nursery stock with first round of butchering.
Regarding image 1.
#1. Should I extend the shari into the top scar? I probably shoulda left that branch for jin, but...too late.
#2. I'm not totally in love with the apex, and I'm thinking I could do with just the bottom two levels of foliage. In fact, I might let it get some more girth and turn it into jin. Whatta ya think?
#3. I'm thinking the whole thing could be tilted too....
#4. What does one do with those blunt ends of jin? Taper them off with a dremel?
#5. Any comments regarding general length of existing jin would be cool too.
#6. The remaining mega branch if just for safety and vigor at the moment. Get rid of it or jin it eventually?
