The camera focused on the arm, not the branch. Seriously, the tree needing ID needs to be the focal point of the image.

Second, we need an approximate location, at least continent, country and for large non-EU countries, at least a state to narrow down the list of possibilities.

All I got is alternate leaf pattern, more or less lanceolate leaves. This narrows it down to maybe 10 % of known tree species.

Yes, one of the hundreds of willow species is possible.

Salix scouleriana is a species of willow native to northwestern North America. Other names occasionally used include fire willow, Nuttall willow, mountain willow, and black willow.
