Rendezvous is Brussel’s Bonsai’s annual bonsai convention held over Memorial Day weekend. Serious bonsai hobbyists, from around the country, spend four days with seven of the world’s top bonsai artists.
Rendezvous is the perfect balance between learning advanced bonsai techniques, enjoying great food and having a lot of fun!

I just looked at the flyer, what a powerhouse of events. One could drop quite a lot of $$ here...

I've heard nothing but good things about Rendezvous...year in and year out, it's one of the best bonsai events to attend, buy new stock, see demos while rubbing shoulders with some of the best talent stateside, etc.. Unfortunately, it always falls on Memorial Day weekend, which happens to be my Anniversary:rolleyes:... I'll get there someday.

At first, I was perplexed o_O

I said to myself: "I thought that Noelanders Trophy takes places in Genk, Belgium. I've asked someone to bring me a new pair of cutters, if it's in Brussels, she'll never find them!"

    http://www.bonsaiassociation.be/fr/trophy.php

Then, I had a look at the pdf flyer and understood: it's Brussels, "USA"! :D

I can't attend any, but both events look awesome from my little keyboard...

I hope that after displaying her trees at the EBA exhibit, the President of my club will find some time to bring me back my cutters - with a discount ;)

I'm not saying anything is overpriced here, just saying I see a lot of workshops that I would do, and that would add up!

I have just got the bosai bug and found out about Brussels a few days too late for this event. The amazing thing to me is that it is only 10 mins from my house so the fiancé and I went and toured Monday. Needless to say I have found my new hangout spot :D
