there was an older thread i enjoyed reading a while back and wanted to refresh. some how i lost it or didnt bookmark it like i thought i did; anyway.
it was about branch placement on decidious trees and pines etc. , how and what angle they leave the trunk and how to place the tips/buds/ leaves
there may have been talk of making different crowns appear certain ways like on older maples versus formal uprights.
anybody remember this or have it saved. id like to reread it or even start a new discussion on it. or if there is an essential read i should know about. ive just been thinkin on it lately.as ive got a japanese maple that i may start totally new branches on this year.
