I just bought this bougainvillea, im wondering if its hungry or if this is just how they are? Ita a rijnstar pink variety. The reason why I ask if its normal is because this nursery had probably over 100 bougainvilleas and they all had these kinds of leaves.

If you look at the older leaves and compare them to the new ones, you can see the old are darker than the new ones, leading me to believe this is likely a nutrient deficiency. I would use an inorganic water soluable fertilizer and see if it improves.

Ah ok interesting, ill try those, I took a picture of the older ones that are darker. They have that same veiny pattern though. This is why I thought it might just be the variety cause I know some plants have that sort of veiny look to their leaves. When I bought it I figured those were new leaves that just hadnt darkened. Next watering I will add some fertilizer tho and see if theres a change. Thanks!
