I just repotted a bougainvillea and reduced the root mass tremendously.
There are still a great deal of small roots but not fine roots.

Does anyone have a recommendation on care at this point?
Shall I reduce foliage?
Tent?
I would appreciate tips from you bougie experts.

Any reason why it was repotted now?
Maybe bottom heat, keep the foliage, mist, and watch the water.
I’m not a fan of tents because they encourage lots of fungal issues.

I read that it might be a good time...
No?
I will be over wintering indoors with big lights, as I have done since I picked this up in 2019.
I can definitely add bottom heat.
I placed it in an open air missing tent with shade cloth, for now

Some photos would be particularly helpful.

Here you go!

This is a very accurate side-by-side representation. The one in question, was planted in an identical setup. If you look closely you can see I was only using about 2/3 of the volume of the crate.

I like your growing setup. Your creativity works!
I’m guessing that the handles are particularly helpful and handy. Mighty fine!
