BonsaiNut slow to load recently?

The last 3-4 weeks BonsaiNut seems a lot slower at loading threads and in particular pictures than usual. Especially on very picture heavy threads it's really noticable. Anybody else notice a difference? @bonsainut is the site perhaps experiencing more traffic than usual?

Loading time works fine for me. But I'm located in US. Maybe the server latency is less for me and more for you?

Ive noticed it on my cell phone at times but I think thats mainly when the connection is weak

Interesting, I kind of assumed it would be BonsaiNut wide. I guess server location could be a cause.

Just opened the "What did you do today?" thread and it took 40 seconds before I could see the pictures in the most recent unseen post.

It's quite odd, I opened a few Walter Pall tree threads. Some threads had visible picture in just a couple seconds, others took well over 20. All picture heavy threads I'd say.

I'm clocking 300+ mbps internet speed, and can stream in HD without any problem, so my internet isn't likely to be the culprit.

It has been very slow for me also on my I phone . Some pictures wont even load . I am using it in my house but the computer is fine .

Using Duck Duck Go search engine the site is not as cluttered with adverts.
A few extra seconds load time worth it.
I was shocked when using Google for this site how the amount adds destroyed the experience.
All for covering expenses but overkill is overkill.

It's super slow for me. Pictures are taking forever to load. Other sites work fine so it feels like it might be an issue with Bonsai Nut.

Hmm I guess it's not just me then. Perhaps it affects those outside of the US. Oh well, hopefully it will get better in time.
