Saw this on Reddit and figured I’d share here. Incredible collection of photos of trees in Japan from various gardens.

Wondering whether the owners of these images gave permission for this. No credits are given it seems. (The site does not seem to be able to handle the images there, loading ins so sloooow I left again)

@thebonsaiproject is here I think.

Edit: last seen in Sept. but maybe the tag will bring him in to address any concerns.

@RJG2 Thanks for tagging me

@leatherback Shoot, sorry about the images not loading well. It should be lazy loading which means only loading like 10 on a screen before loading more (making it smoother) I'll see if I can make it quicker.

In regards to ownership of images, they are all my images that I took over my 4-week bonsai tour in Japan for myself and in hopes of sharing them with others. Some are from museums, others from public shows, and others from studios. I asked the masters and apprentices (I could communicate with) about taking photos and they didn't have a problem. I was hoping to make an interactive map so people could find where they can go and see these trees for themselves.

Hope everyone is enjoying the images and let me know if there is something I could change.

Cheers!

The trip absolutely slapped, there was almost too much bonsai. Felt like I couldn't give them all the appreciation they deserved because there was so much to see haha. Good problem to have though I reckon
