Blue star juniper nursery stock start..

Picked this up from a local nursery. Cleared the trunk and a few low hangin branches that were blocking the "front" view. Any thoughts, opinions, or critique?

Pretty small to do much with it. That first branch on the left is long, straight, and bare except for the tassel of foliate at the end. I'd get rid of it. Then I'd put this into a grow box and let it do just that.

Agree with jkl. This foliage is difficult to work with if not for a LARGE tree. Lord knows I've killed my fair share of those blue junipers.

On another note, I've been in VA since '86 and never knew that 'Ordinary' existed. Howdy quasi-neighbor.
