Big pot needed

I am looking for a pot for a large trident. Oval or soft rectangle glazed preferred. It needs to be 26 inches wide and as long or longer. 4-5 inches deep.

The nebari is 24 inches all the way around and has been reduced as much as possible.

Wow, I'd say that is giant, not big!

I'm not sure if even @NaoTK or @ForrestW are making many pots that big, and they make some big ones.

Still a few years away from needing it. Just wanted to go ahead and begin the search. Primarily need to get it shallower. Largest mica pot wigerts(for reference) has I believe. 23 1/2 internal width I had to tilt it to get it in and turn it sideways. I could shorten it by 2-3 inches but then I’d be cutting big roots and was trying to avoid it.

I don’t know. I think you may need a SMALLER pot. The one it’s in is a bit large for it. It’s a trident and can take root reduction. The bigger the pot the more space left that will hold on to water. All that soil with no roots can cause issues.

I just went through the same thing with my big oak. It was in a pot that it had out grown after 20 years. I went large with a “27 pot from Wigerts ( which ships them and has the largest selection that I could find)
The pot holds ALOT of soil. So much so that watering it correctly is tricky for the recently repotted tree. Additionally had to reinforce its stand and rethink how to move it. It’s over 200 lbs.

Oh no. The tree is twisted off is front and tilted down in the front just to get in. There’s no cutting more off it.
I need 26 x 26 minimum… the trunk is just that wide.

This might be smaller than you're looking for. It only has a single ±1" drain hole. I think the depth is about right. I'll go back and measure if you're interested. There are several at this store for. Honestly, I don't know how freeze resistant they are. They are thick-walled, though, about an inch thick. It may not be at all what you're looking for, but it seems like a very low price. Just let me know if you'd like more info; I'll see what I can find out for you.
