I have several Deodar cedars which will need to be potted next winter. Given the graceful branch form, it seems that a "feminine" shape would be the best. Do others concur with that?

As for color - glazed/unglazed? taupe (to coordinate with bark), reddish brown or subdued green? I know that personal preference can factor into the pot one chooses, but what is the classic pot combination for cedrus?

Pics!

I'm for unglazed.

'Tis but a wee thing.

It got fried one scorching day last summer before I realized it was still partially in the sun, but I'm hoping it will come back. The roots seem to have maxed out the pot, which is why I'm on a container search.
