Here are a couple Mediterranean type plants that come in for the winter, but probably won't go in my new soggy tropical aquarium. I am sorry I don't have the scientific name for either, but the bay leaf is one of my longest surviving trees at around 8 years of it's tortured existence in my possession. I like the base and bark at the base and it seems to back bud with a respectable eventuality. Right now I am practicing the art of balancing the branches growth so that the lowest branches become thickest without stressing it too much because of the poor conditions for a plant that should be outside. wow, it looks even worse in the photo than it does in real life.
