Azalea

I am fairly new to bonsai. I have this Azalea for around 3 years. I am in Canada zone 5 or 6. I kept my Azalea in cold garage and in early spring it always came back and bloomed. But this year there was no activity, no green leaf or no blooms either. All the old leaves were crispy and brown. It’s been few months and still nothing but if I break any branch it’s still green. I did repot it about 2 weeks ago thinking it might be root bound but still no activity. Can someone give me any advice please or there is no hope. I have attached few photos when it was alive just before I put it in garage in October and when it bloomed last year.

I have little hope. It was a tree with issues after winter. The repot -to me- feels like a final insult.
But.. Put it on a backbench in the shade and just wait and see. Sometimes trees surprise us.
