Purchases in summer on eBay as Sachsenstern. It is pretty and healthy but not Sachsenstern.
I think it was initially from Bonsai Boy, same pictures and description.

I think they mixed up the tags and my Sachsenstern was tagged as Chojuho. Foliage looks like Chojuho, but flower doesn't match up.
Darn pretty whatever it is.

I am not completely following that it was labeled as 'Chojuho'. You say you bought a Sachsenstern and in the picture it is labeled as such (though you might have replaced a Chojuho label with that one).

Why do you say it is not Sachsenstern? The images are not 100% clear to me.

I bought two plants from eBay seller. One was Chojuho and one was Sachsenstern. The labels got mixed in shipping. The label in my picture was one I wrote. When I contacted the seller I was just looking for the name of the one I pictured. First the said it was Sachsenstern, then Chojuho and then their "master" said Sachsenstern.
It is neither. If you don't know these cultivars, look them up and you will see that this plant is neither. The foliage is very much like Chojuho but Chojuho has a strap like orange-ish color flower. Sachsenstern is not a satsuki and it has a white flower with a narrow red edge. Hopefully the other plant is a Sachsenstern as it has a foliage that is consistent with that plant.
No matter, nice plant, just wish they could have told me what it is.

Yes, I am familiar with both. Ah, that makes sense then. I didn't think of the scenario where you ordered one of each plant.

However, you say this one does have foliage like Chojuho. I would say this one has foliage like Sachsenstern. Right now, Madame Kint would come closest.

I wonder then if your other plant is the actual Chojuho. A satsuki and a Belgian indica look quite different in terms of foliage.

I'll get side by side photos when its not raining.
One thing is clear, the flower I showed is neither Sachsenstern or Chojuho.
I know just enough to be dangerous.
