Just planted a batch of 20 finger limes in a tray . I was also sent another 20 seed ( from last year ) they were planted as well only thing they were soaked in water and hydrogen perioxide for an extra day .
We see what happen i guess
 
Had to go look for it because it's been a while, but @GailC was asking questions about these in a Tea House thread at one time.

Hope you have tough hands or good gloves. Finger lime is VERY prickly. Smaller spines than Poncirus trifoliata (flying dragon) but just as savage on the hands.
Normal growth seems to be long and straight but I guess regular pruning will change that.

Spider mites will prune them for us. Mine stays bushy because of that.
And maybe because I keep forgetting to water it and the tips die back. Could be both.
