Austin, Texas Area Collection Spots / Junipers

Any one have any experience collecting Ashe Juniper in the Austin, Texas area? I've run into some really healthy looking specimens in public greenbelt areas but its not exactly ethical to dig up trees on public trails.

I think it not just unethical...illegal too.
