In life and on-line in forums, those seeking experience / knowledge, often
come in on bended knee.

In about 3 to 5 years, for most, arrogance will set in.
They become difficult, argumentative and often rude.
They also start to dispense advice.

At this stage, I just back off and some return to normal, in control of
their knowledge/experience.
Some, sadly do not.

This is why if you look into the topic - Bonsai or People.
I say, if one has 10 years experience in Bonsai, I can get along.
Even I don't have experiences similar to you.
Once your plant is healthy.

It is a part of learning and life.

The idea behind these forums is to lend experience, and point to reading.

When say Vance speaks I listen, chew on what he says, and question him if need be.
Repeat - When Sifu .................................................................................. if need be.
Repeat ................

So if I start to ignore you, you are not on that silly ignore button.
I am just giving time and avoiding arguments.
Good Day
Anthony

Or -- as Robert Jordan said time and time again:
"The Wheel of Time turns, and ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legends fade to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. ... There are neither beginnings or endings to the turning of the Wheel of Time."

Oldskool/Newskool. ART changes..... Respect is gone a while ago... Perhaps a tree from Mars will help us.

I meet people that where in bonsai about 30 years. They brunt my tree's down. This is wrong that's wrong. Negatief.

What would you do?????

It's spring here -- most days. We're well into that stage of our annual cycle as "the wheel of time turns."
And on this and other forums [fori?] many questions resurface that have been posed before. Our wheel on B-Nut is not static, but is ever-renewing as members come and go, as our experiences evolve, and as new information comes to our attention.
So it's really no surprise that many of our "legends" -- answers to questions that were posted in the past -- aren't known to newer components of our circle/wheel of members. Or that many of our other "legends" -- specific members -- aren't known to those same spokes in our wheel.
But the constant is the tree -- or, a tree that concerns us at the moment. Its container, its substrate [soil?], its need for pruning/repotting/pinching at one specific time of year.
We are fortunate that some of us can both do and teach.
Me?
I'm learning more every year.
@Anthony I don't know what prompted your post, but I surely respect your opinion and the point I found in your post. I rarely answer or post a reply, but that doesn't mean I don't care about the OP. Quite simply, I don't always have anything to add to the conversation.
I'm a student here every day -- even at my age.

... ...And on this and other forums [fori?] many questions ... ...
"fora" if I may offer correction...
I'm a student here every day -- even at my age.
Makes two of us. However, I do post :D
