Apex Study: Trunk Chop, and 3 Branches

Artist appears to have trunk chopped above/between two high(est) branches, wired the thicker one up as the new leader for terminal apex, and wired the other 2 branches outward to form the base of the crown (for the overall silhouette of a group planting).

Brilliant.

It is also a posterior branch and pad 2nd from the top. Wow, crazy.
