Another maple question.

Hey all. Another maple question. This time a vine maple. It started off pretty good this spring, but as the months go on I see the leaves starting to fold.. any idea what is causing this? I water once a day. Have fertilize tea bags in it. Has been in the box for 2 years. First image is early spring. Second images and beyond is from today.

Nothing under the leaves.

Once a day depending on heat. And strength of sun. It is in full sun for about 6 hrs. 10a to 5p,

Thanks I’ll monitor. Is there anything I could put on top of the soil to hold in some moisture? Like pine park?
