This tree was purchased as a bush from the nursury.. That was about 2 1/2 years ago. Actually, member Dav4 from this site picked the front for this tree...

Here is a pic of the tree right after purchase and 2 pics of 2 1/2 years later . The tree looks like it has more foliage in the pics than it does in person. After the tree settles in it's new pot this season, more shari work will be done.

This tree has that classic bonsai look. I think that the foilage could be thinned and possible a few branches removed to emphasize the trunk line and the shari's & jins.
