Got around to repotting another boxwood today. I have had this one for quite sometime, it was a landscape planting in my old neighborhood, the one that I grew up in. It was planted in the 60's and ripped out in the 90's. Unfortunately the person who removed them used and ax to chop at them so it had significant damage. I think it looks good considering what it has been through.
Before the repot, I had it potted up in an oil drain pan. I get them at the dollar store for, hold you breath, one dollar. They make a pretty good training pot.
Here are the roots combed out. About a year and a half worth of growth.
The roots trimmed back for its new home.
All potted and ready to grow. I am not real crazy about the pot, but it was the only one that I had on hand that was large enough for the tree.
