Well, the maple bit the dust, so I figured I'd get another in while it's still 2022. Maybe 2

Unfortunately I didn't take total before pics, but I have one after some light pruning. I got this back in September or so from big garden chain in town. Orig $18 - marked half off to $9

There is some reverse taper at the curve in the main trunk, not sure what I'll do with that. There are three distinct cascading branches, which I think will make a nice layered design.

3 gal pot, prob 18-24" long. Haven't seen one like this before or since at Houston GC.

I got a pair around the same time for roughly the same price. Hacked them back to a new leader and grafted one of them with blaauw foliage.
Let's compare in spring!
