It's been nearly two years since we had the Fall 2014 Box Store Challenge. I figured I'd post an update to my entry and would like to see if anyone else wanted to post their entry from the challenge. First, let's go back to September 2014 and checkout my pathetic entry:
In February 2015 I decided to cut the deadwood way back.
A couple months later and a little pruning.
Here it is a little later in 2015. You can clearly see the foliage is completely juvenile.

And here it is today with close to 100% adult foliage. All I've been doing is very minimal pruning and heavy feeding because I want the tree as strong as possible for a spring 2017 repot. I'd say at this point, the tree is extremely vigorous. I'm really wanting to wire a style it but I must resist the temptation.
As always, feel free to comment or give me your take on the tree.
