In 2022, my 20-year-old JM was burnt. We were out of the country, and the caretaker was not sufficient for the task.
It started growing again when it got the water it needed. But it has never been the same.
I decided that I needed to repot this tree and that I may turn it into a bonsai.
Here are a few pictures to show the tree's current condition. She gets watered automatically every other day.
Please provide some guidance. I am only 1 year old in my bonsai practice and need all the coaching I can get. I thought I might do a few air layers, but given the sate of the tree, I am unsure how to proceed.

Welcome aboard. Any chance you can share some pics of the whole tree? Very hard to make heads or tails from the pics provided.

Here is a short video so you can see the whole tree

Thanks for your reply. I shared a video of the whole tree in a reply to my original post. Attaching a still shot for you to see

Ugh! So sorry.

Looks like the tree was sun scalded. This normally occurs during the winter with trees in full sun with frozen roots. But in this case a similar thing occurred.

All one can do is water properly and protect this winter. Then see what happens next spring.
