maple acer

Hello, I have just received this beautiful Maple (Acer Deshojo) from my gf. I am wondering what to do with it? It has two leaders from the top third of the truck. Maybe I should airlayer the larger leader? I am also thinking to airlayer the first third of main truck

I have an old maple tree, and it doesn’t want to bud back. I already pruned back the foliage, but it’s still not budding back to the old wood. Should I try to make a tall bonsai or is there a solution?

I know it’s late in the season….. but when you see a specimen or in my case 3….. ya gotta act. I collected one about this time last year and kept it alive. So I think I’ll be okay…. I’m just looking for tips and trick or general suggestions for these 3 collected maples. Should I prune them back...

Hello all I'm a beginner and got this nursery stock, it has a slanted trunk with 4 branches running along it, im assuming it's 1 year+ should I eliminate some branches, train all of them away and pick the best route later, I'm not sure what to do or if to young to prune?
