chinese quince

I bought this last year and was told it was a flowering quince, but I am not sure this is the case. Can anyone confirm what this is?

I'm trying to buy some Chinese quince seeds and want to make sure I get the correct species. Last year I purchased and grew some seeds that the seller had listed as Chinese quince ,Chaenomeles sinensis and once they started growing, I realized they looked more like Japanese flowering quince...
