    I found this juniper discarded on the side of a road. I have always worked with maples and am at a loss what to do with this juniper. Would appreciate any advice on styling. Unsure whether to create a cascade or to rotate and attempted to bring it upright?

    There is no new growth on the main trunk at all. The growth is from the shoots growing up through the middle of the tree. The main trunk in quite dead.

    A nurseryman dug this pine out at a neighbors home. I just walked over and grabbed it. I have always worked with acers. I pruned back some of the broken branches and put it in a pot. What type of pine is this?
