I have been working on this tree for over a decade and have yet to find out what cultivar of Chamaecyparis it is.

I received this tree and about 6 more from a friend who was clearing land in upstate NY. It looks like eastern hornbeam to me but I am not sure. I have 2 other trees that I am also uncertain about and will post pics tomorrow. Thanks, Barry
