If this tree was mine I would take at least half of the roots that are left off if not more. Tridents will take a lot of root reduction and never miss a beat.

Look at blacksmith tools you’ll find tools that will work great at half the cost. Look for long handles that will give extra leverage.

Mika pot for everything once it’s getting ready to be shown then and only then will I think about a pot. To many pots are purchased for trees that will be never used.

You can’t compare pricing between Andy’s tree and Cajunrider completely different trees and growth patterns. like comparing apples and oranges
