    Picked this up today

    was at a nursery today looking around when I came upon this little tree. Says it's a dwarf Chinese elm. Not sure but I liked it enough to buy it for 10.00 lol. The leaves are micro small and look like Chinese elm leaves. The entire tree is only about 5" tall. Thought I'd share it

    Maybe pixie? My local nursery has cuttings of those growing in pots. Not grafts. I don't want a huge bonsai maple. Medium size is what I'd like. The pixie is supposed to be good for medium size with small leaves according to evergreengardenworks.com

    what size pot should I get for a Japanese maple that I'm buying. I posted some question in the general forum about buying it and I'm going to. Just need to know what size pot for this tree. It's 11" tall and 12" wide. 2yrs old.

    Why do you say it's grafted? It's a Acer Palma dwarf Japanese maple. 'Babe's Dwarf'. It's at a tree nursery not a bonsai shop
