    Two new trees

    Got these from a fellow club member for a really good deal. A (red?) Japanese maple and a juniper. Really excited about the JM as its much farther along than any of my other Maples. The two middle branches are dead, not sure what I'll do with those.

    american yew

    picked up this for $7 at an auction. last fall it started turning yellow it looks like a healthy green now, but it's not putting out any new growth. should I be worried? it's hard to check the roots with the pot that it's in.
