    Kate M's American Hornbeam

I like it, I can see what you want to do with the changes of direction. I personally would keep the right trunk and I like the area where it changes direction also, so I would try to find something above your red line for the right trunk. Think there is also some potential for an informal broom...

    Ideas for this Trident Nebari?

Personally, I dont always use a saw. Sometimes I just use a sturdy set of loppers, works for me:)

What's the most you have ever spent on a single tree? (finished or pre-bonsai or yamadori or raw stock)

This is a good strategy. In regards to the FB auctions, I haven't personally done any business in those auctions to date. Generally just glance over them.

What's the most you have ever spent on a single tree? (finished or pre-bonsai or yamadori or raw stock)

Buyers can in fact know better with some research. I was recently looking for a pendant light I'd seen trending for 2024 on pintrest. They have it for £60 in Homebase, upon searching amazon I found a good quality replica for a fraction of the price at £20, with great reviews, because I always...

What's the most you have ever spent on a single tree? (finished or pre-bonsai or yamadori or raw stock)

Somewhat agree. and in regard to the 'or make an offer' option, if the buyer doesn't think the tree is worth the asking price, make an offer. Thats what its there for. To add to that, we live in an age where it only takes a few seconds to do some market research.

Double trunk - how high could I layer?

Doing this will help you to hone your eye and begin to envision how the tree could evolve. Based on where secondary branches are emerging from the primarys, you can start to sketch in how you would like them to shape up. I couldnt do a virt in my first 2 years, you pick it up.

5yr native tree challenge - Leatherbacks Fagus sylvatica

The movement is really good for Beech. Its a nice tree, but I can can see why you may not be that happy with some bits.

5yr native tree challenge - Leatherbacks Fagus sylvatica

I came across this one on FB, on the bonsai before n after page. Think I may have glimpsed it also in one of your videos. Is there a thread on it?

    Evolution of Mirai Live

Ive often just had it on in the background while working on or wiring out my own trees. After I watched properly. Is it only me who gets fired up to work on a tree after watching a stream? not just mirai, but im like this after watching Graham potter or Walter pall, etc videos. If this stuff...

Lime sulfur winter spray, how do you do it?

Ive had this dilution in a spray bottle and literally sprayed trees until the stuff was dripping off leaves. Nothing to worry about. Your tree will not turn White, nor will your leaves!

    Evolution of Mirai Live

Strangely, there wasnt much chatter about the content on here, a murmur here n there, but nothing like what youre implying. I imagine the streams would of been discussed more on the mirai forum, from week to week. The most interest you'd get here is when there was a sale on. Just my...
