    good job guys with the oaks. Cork bark aka quercus suber is my fav. they are aggressive growers, but very top dominant, always promote low branches here is one I started from a 2 inch line...circa 1992

    You might not care about cost :rolleyes: ... but oval is usually easier to find and cheaper, a long rectangle with dead straight sides, ewww, hard to make heres one of mine with the opposite problem all very same in size

    Hey Marc, We are talking Silica, tiny pieces of rock, aka silica sand. Any sand is good for drainage not so much for holding water or nutrients. Also very heavy, but inexpensive. Perlite on the other hand Drains well, takes in water and nutrients and holds it in its pores. For my money...
