Our sensei at PBS David Nyguen (sp?) put the first twist on this itigawa two seasons ago and auctioned them off as a fundraiser. I repoted it and I think I finaly figured out how to make it grow. I took Davids wire off last year and put some new wire on. I would like to make a cascade out of it.

Ha. Took a break from bonsai for a few different reasons. I actually got rid of all my plants, but the itch was too strong and I picked up a shimpaku and some ficus recently.

In the first pic I was thinking the branch to the left was heading in that direction and I would like to get some diversity in the style of trees I have.
