Lol....

Pots can be jugs, yeah?

But not usually tits.

I always wanted a full bass on my calf eating my knee.

So if pots were tits....
In tit-fer-tat...
How many tits would it take for that?

Bro....even cooler...a video...strap my leg down, make tat, the whole time....I make pots for you.....
Then we switch!
You make a pot for me....
I tattoo you!

At the same time. I think it will be fun!

We are definitely getting up next year.

If you like them that much you need to go out to Jugg Town in Will County.

Lot of old clay pits out there. No idea of the type of clay, but they made Earthen ware.

Jugg Town?

But most likely named for some ol' coot from the 1800's "affectionately" named Jugg......:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

hey @sorce don't Rube Goldberg this thing and mess your shit up. I'm actually thinking you could get pretty "good" at making containers, actually. Should be interesting. May I suggest simple, clean and efficient design. Perhaps keep the feet you come up with small and understated?

Good luck with your new toy and to a start of something that should lead to brighter days if you believe...;):p:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

So right @LanceMac10
Let the pro mud makers do their job and you focus on making useable art.
IMO
@sorce
You have something different than most artists and I think focus on completing usable containers at this point will set you up high!

Note note.....

The kiln sitter with a 06 went off at 11:15.

That's about 2/3 up.

I reengaged it and my 06 cone on the bottom shelf melted over at 12:15.
Gaurd cone 05 unmelted....

But with only the 06 in the sitter up top, I won't know what it reached up there.

But it shouldn' be hotter than 04.

What I can see hasn't cracked.

I'm going to leave the peephole open for a while, then close it and go to sleep for the night...ha! Yeah! More coffee more coffee!

Sleeping with a slow cooling.

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

Seems I officially became a potter last night around 932degrees F...

When...

"you could no longer mix the dried clay with water to make new wet clay. An irreversible chemical change has taken place"

This is freaking emotional!

@sorce,

!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wait until you really start to pot ...............................................

AND the next time you see this -------------------- know it was the first thing
K fired in his very much smaller Paragon kiln. Age 18

And re-glazed it about 2 years ago.
Image below ,

And if he ever lets
I will show you the second thing he made and fired if he lets me.
Good Day
Anthony

A pinch pot - seagrape might be closer to 20 years old, collected seedling.
Sushi board and collected stone from the beach.

Hell yeah!

Wicked wicked Sorcery !

Soon!

I got right to glazing!

Sunday glaze fire.

Sorce
Sorcerer, How are you glazing? method, technique? The reason I ask is, consistency in bisque temp and glaze application is where you will pay for the extra firing cost of inconsistency. Good luck man!!! Have fun!! Clay is a slippery slide ;-)
